Growing Up with The Berenstain Bears returns to LDCM

Growing Up with The Berenstain Bears, an interactive exhibition for kids and families based on the iconic children’s book series, will be on display in the Cultural Gallery at Lied Discovery Children’s Museum beginning on March 13, 2010.

Growing Up with The Berenstain Bears was developed by Lied Discovery Children’s Museum in conjunction with Stan and Jan Berenstain and originally opened in 2005. Since then, the exhibition has traveled to eight other museums in major metropolitan areas in the U.S. and Canada. Now the Bears have come home to Las Vegas just in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lied Discovery Children’s Museum.

The vibrant, colorful exhibition continues the themes of the Berenstain books through immersive environments based on classic illustrations. Familiar Bear Country sites like the Tree House, School Classroom and Skull Rock come to life, incorporating educational exercises in math and reading, role playing, lessons in manners and much more.
